A closed AI system, as the IPI requires

The new code of conduct of the IPI (the Professional Institute of Real Estate Agents, BIV in Dutch), in force since 1 October 2026, sets out how a real estate agent, and therefore also a property manager, may use AI. Atlas is built to meet every rule.

Atlas is a closed system. Your questions are processed only within the European Union, via Amazon Bedrock. The AI service retains nothing and does not train on your data.

Assess the output of AI carefully and critically

Every answer shows its sources, so you can check in one click what it's based on. Atlas never sends, books or changes anything on its own: every proposal passes through you first.

Inform your clients when AI was used

Choose for yourself whether letters and answers from Atlas get a short note that they were prepared with AI. A ready-made paragraph for your privacy statement is in the settings.

Questions about Atlas

What property managers ask us most often about AI in their office.

Is my data used to train AI?

No. Atlas uses AI models via Amazon Bedrock, which does not use your data to train models and does not share it with the makers of those models. Syndicbase itself also does not train anything on your data.

Where is my data processed and stored?

Your questions are processed in Amazon Bedrock data centers within the European Union, which retain nothing after the answer. Your conversations with Atlas are stored by Syndicbase itself, within the European Union and visible only to you. A conversation without a new question is archived after 30 days and deleted 60 days later, or immediately when you delete it yourself.

What data can Atlas see?

Only that of your own workspace, and only what you yourself are allowed to open. Atlas reads with your own permissions: a building, document or mailbox you don't have access to, Atlas can't read either. Atlas only reads your mailbox and calendar if you've connected them in Syndicbase.

Does Atlas decide for me?

No. Atlas prepares, you decide. Answers, letters and actions are proposals that you check, adjust and confirm. Atlas never sends an email or letter on its own and never touches your accounting, payments or user permissions.

Can Atlas make mistakes?

Yes, like any AI. That's why Atlas shows the sources it relies on with every answer, so you can check in one click whether it's correct. Names, addresses and amounts in letters come from your data through your templates' variables, not from the AI.

What does Atlas cost?

Atlas is included in your Syndicbase subscription. You pay nothing extra per question, per email or per letter.

Which languages does Atlas work in?

Dutch, French, German and English. Atlas answers in the language of your question, writes a reply to an email in the sender's language and a letter in each owner's language.
